One can't help but see the contrast. The brave people of HK, taking on the CCP, and their own Triad gangs, to ensure their freedom. Contrast the dolts and feminists of the UK, complaining about a coup that isn't a coup, marching to continue their slavery.

I had initially thought the quote was attributed to Mr Gorbachev. However, Mr Bukovky's comments are interesting. A man can change his mind. My own pro-EU position has transformed into pro-Brexit, after witnessing the endemic corruption of the EU. The similarities to the politburo are more debatable, though interesting. The final nail in the coffin has been the raging, unstoppable idiocy of the remainers. They may have made the elementary error of believing their own rhetoric; they have cast the dolt spell upon themselves. There is no coup, people, go back to your basements.
And what does the week hold? I'd guess Boris will win the no-confidence vote, and a suitable period of reeeing, no-deal Brexit will ensue. The remainers might pause to consider that, for them, May's deal was significantly better than no-deal. But they won't.
Update:
Well, predictions are for fools and knaves. Boris keeps losing parliamentary votes. And Corbyn doesn't appear to have the gumption for an election. Gridlock. For the firs time in my life, I think the Queen has a valid reason to step in and dissolve parliament. I predict this won't happen, though it would be hilarious.
