As ever, I fail to grock the strategy. They refuse an election they know they'll lose, which is reasonable. But clearly they can't refuse forever. Once the fixed term expires - and yes I fear this may be the hateful scenario - they are toast. They know it. Boris wins by a hundred, and all their floppy feminism will be for naught. That's the difference between tactics and strategy: the long-term.
It's treason-weaseling all the way. If they wish to form government, and call another referendum, that's ok. But they can't, so whatever.
