The astonishingly well-read Dark Lord, Vox Day, has a post from Historian Martin Van Creveld.
I read The Handmaid's Tale at University, and thought it was a perfectly good novel, but nothing special. MvC is much more erudite than I am of course, so perhaps I wasn't doing it justice. Still, that was my time at university: being subjected to feminist tracts, and gay Frenchmen who hated the west. I vaguely suspected Derrida was satire, for one. I am past dating, but I do feel for the younger men. A healthy sex drive is a good thing, it speaks of mental and physical well-being, and someone has to have the children. But One Simply Does Not date a feminist. My advice for younger men would be to ask your date about God Emperor. She doesn't have to support GE, but any sign of TDS must be taken as a red flag. On the upside, MvC makes a shrewd observation about the reaction. I was a college socialist, but like many men have had a severe allergic reaction to trans-pedo and Hillary Stalin. I fear feminists had not fully understood the dynamics of the reaction against their specific worldview. I wonder if this partially explains their hatred of Trump?
